Families with children ages two-and-a-half to three-years-olds are encouraged to register for "We time/Me time," a parent/child class provided by Mankato Area Public Schools' Early Childhood Family Education. Classes are held Tuesdays from 8:30 a.m. to 10 a.m. and Thursdays from 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m., September 12 through November 17 at the Family Learning Center, 820 Hubbell Avenue, Mankato.
- On Tuesdays, parents/guardians can enjoy 30 minutes of fun and learning interaction. Afterwards parents/guardians gather to connect and discuss common topics while children participate in an early childhood experience. Children will socialize and gain valuable literacy and concept skills through physical and learning activities.
- On Thursdays, parents/guardians drop off their children for an independent experience focused on fun play and learning taught by a licensed early childhood teacher.
Register online. Cost is $150 (there is a sliding fee scale available).
