Mankato Area Public School Board filings open August 1
Mankato Area Public Schools (District 77) will hold its annual election on Tuesday, November 7, 2017. Three candidates will be elected for four-year terms with candidates expected to take office on January 8, 2018. The filing period for the election opens at 7 a.m., Tuesday, August 1 and closes at 4 p.m., Tuesday, August 15.

Candidates who wish to place their names on the ballot may pick up the necessary forms in the district's deputy clerk office in Suite 2 of the Intergovernmental Center, 10 Civic Center Plaza. Office hours are 7 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Friday. There is a $2 filing fee for the school district office.
